Staircase to upper patio was changed to a spiral staircase to give the home a contemporary look as well as allow more natural light to the interior dining room that the existing staircase was blocking.

The patio was thoughtfully lowered from its original elevation to enhance the sight lines and create a stronger sense of privacy from neighboring properties—establishing a more intimate, view-forward outdoor experience. Dark wood finishes were replaced with crisp white stucco, instantly brightening the space and lending a refined Mediterranean sensibility. The chimney shaft was reimagined with black-and-white Spanish tile extending into the niche, introducing depth, texture, and a striking focal moment. Newly designed rounded stairs echo the form of the spiral staircase, creating architectural continuity. The integration of Spanish tile throughout reinforces a cohesive material story, unifying the patio with a layered yet harmonious aesthetic.

GUEST BATHROOM

BEFORE

Fresh, bright and classic contemporary with a touch of traditional are the words to describe this guest bathroom remodel. White subway tiles reaching up to the ceiling gives height to the space, Italian Carrara marble top adding elegance and polished nickel finishes giving the sparkle. Let’s not forget the black ceiling showcasing a little drama. This bathroom went from dark and dull to bright and elegant.

The layout of the master bathroom was inefficient, and dark. The spaces were separated by walls that wasted space and made the master bath small and crammed. Like the rest of the house the goal was to open spaces, brighten and give it all a contemporary feel.
