How We Work!
Client Consultation
We like to meet in the environment(s) that you are interested in modifying to discuss all the decision markers. This can be done in person or virtually. What is your aesthetic, identify meaningful furnishings that will be incorporated in the design, is there a time frame for the project, what is your investment amount. This initial meeting is considered a working appointment and can last up to 2 hours with knowledge, suggestions and insights freely given. We want you to feel inspired and a sense of clarity from this initial consultation and an understanding of how we can move forward together. This first valuable meeting always saves you time, money and mistakes moving forward. It is the starting point of all good design.
Site Planning:
With as much information gathered a contract and a design estimate for the scope of work will be sent. When signed and returned an onsite visit will be scheduled where we can take measurements, and meet with our trusted vendors and/or workmen who may need to evaluate the space to provide estimates for their portion of the job.
Preliminary Design:
Having gathered as much information about your project as possible this is the stage where the design comes together. We research, space plan, source materials and furniture, draw up floor plans, 3D renderings when applicable, create color schemes, and mood boards.
Design Presentation:
This is when we get to present and explain to you the design for your new space. We meet (in person or virtually) and present go over items in detail within the space. At this time we also review projected investment of project and note any changes that may need to be made.
Purchasing Products:
If we have been working virtually together this is where you are given a road map on how to implement the design and where to buy specific items that have been selected. If we have established a more full design approach then we handle the entire ordering process for you. Purchase orders will be created, checked and then doubled checked for accuracy of selections. We will monitor the orders from placement until fulfillment. Should there be issues with the product, it is all handled by our studio.
Coordinating & Site Visits:
We are in constant contact with all members involved with the design implementation (if agreed upon in contract) We manage all the details during the construction and/or installation phases. We will also perform site visits to check that progress and quality of work are being performed.
Installations & Styling
This is the day furniture is placed according to plan and sentimental pieces meaningfully displayed.
Project Reveal & Final Walk Through
We set up a time to walk through the spaces and present to you the newly designed environments. Revealing how the initial design concepts have come to life. This is also a time to identify any outstanding items that need addressed.
Professional Photography:
A photo is more than something tangible. It is a way to freeze time. We love photographing our clients space when they are completed to be featured on our website and social media.
