The Inspiration Boards
This was one of our e-design clients so we wanted to create documents that would create the feel, tone and textures of the design we were presenting. Often time we will give inspirations sheets to accomplish this. A collection of different images representing different elements of design to give our clients a clear vision of how we envision the spaces we are designing.
The Materials Board
This new build has the living room, dining room and kitchen all open to each other. With this factor we wanted to make sure all the finishes selected played well with each other. Items were selected specifically for use and location within the design. The client wanted a modern take on a typical lodge. The items that were selected do just that. The veining go through counter tops represent the landscape that is around the home. The connection between the streams and the rivers. The river rock again playing homage to the rivers that are so prominent in the city where the home is being built. Beautiful thick wide planks for the flooring mimic the forests outside the windows. Theres a delicateness and robustness that intertwine with each other constantly throughout the space.
The Floor Plan
A rendered floor plan is a great tool to use when working with e-design clients. a 2D floor plan showing where the finishes selected will land and how they interact with the other elements around them.
